About Our Educators

  • Q. Why did you become an Educator?

I became an educator because I absolutely adore children! I love being able to teach them something new and I’ve always wanted to be a teacher or a child caregiver for as long as I can remember. I know how important it is to set and show great examples for the children. Just being there for them and watching them experience something new is the best feeling.
  • Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

My favorite thing about being an educator is being able to teach children new things. I love seeing their facial expressions when they finally get something new.
  • Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

I am first aid and CPR certified for adult, child, and infant. Additionally, I became a mother at a young age and discovered my true calling is caring for kiddos.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

My soon to be husband and I have a beautiful baby girl named Olivia (1) and a handsome little man named Mason (4). We also have a Lab/Catahoula/shar-pei mix who is 6-months. We’re an extremely outdoorsy family!

About Our School

  • Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

I seek to allow kids to explore through play and experience their world through hands-on interactions. At West Child Care, I follow a structure for daily activities (circle time, meal times, naps..etc) but allow flexibility for different play and exploration!
  • Q. What's your school set-up like?

I have an indoor space set up with age-appropriate and educational toys and tools for kids to play and imagine with. West Child Care has a big outdoor space for kids to explore and experience the world around them.
  • Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

I serve breakfast, lunch and three nutritious snacks throughout the day.

About Our Parent Relationships

  • Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

Communication on how things are going, reviewing all policies, and having open conversations about your child and how I can best support them.
  • Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?

    Absolutely!
