About Our Educators

  • Q. Why did you become an Educator?

I love kids, their innocence, the love they share with you, their excitement about everything. I was able to witness some of the best teaching at my daughter's preschool. They practiced what I was doing with my daughter and I wanted to be a part of it. I remember going in and volunteering in my daughter's class and helping the teacher with all the children, and it was then I realized my love of working with kids. I applied and was hired as an assistant teacher for two years, and then became a lead teacher.
  • Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

Watching the children model what you have been teaching them in their play. I love the "a-ha" moments when they finally get something they have been working on whether it's fitting a cylinder in a circular hole, eating by themselves, being able to wash their own hands, or playing with friends.
  • Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

Having worked with children previously, I have experience working with kids, and have been trained to work with children who have had trauma in their lives. As well, I think believe that social emotional learning is incredibly important, and have been trained to teach children how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

I love family. I have a daughter, son and also extended family we are very close with.

About Our School

  • Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

Learning while playing is the best way to learn! I also believe that families should be involved with their children at daycare and home to connect what we are doing and what they are doing at home.
  • Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

I provide all meals and snacks throughout the day. I always provide fruit and vegetables at every meal and encourage milk and water.

About Our Parent Relationships

  • Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

To be on time for drop-off and pick-up, communicate about the children, be involved, and provide for the needs of the children.
  • Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?

I have an open door policy, parents can stop by any time to visit
