About Our Educators

  • Q. Why did you become an Educator?

Growing up, I was very fortunate to have amazing educators who invested in my future. I understand the importance of helping children learn and grow in a fun, respectful, stimulating environment through hands-on exploration and purposeful play. I delight in my responsibility to positively impact young minds and contribute to my community in a meaningful way.
  • Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

Building a sense of community. I love teaching children how to care for the people and things in their environment. Helping children trust in one another while developing their own identity in a safe, supportive setting is an irreplaceable experience!
  • Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

I recently completed several early childhood education courses to add to my many years of training. I'm also grateful to be a homeschool mother to a 15-month-old girl and a 4-year-old boy with specialized, everyday experience, educating and caring for small children.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

We believe in the essential responsibility of welcoming and nurturing those who have been placed in our care. We strive to build genuine, lasting relationships, and we're dedicated to growing in knowledge, cultivating kindness, and fostering a life-long love of learning.

About Our School

  • Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

My child educational philosophy is a wonderful mixture of spontaneous play and intentional teaching complemented by Montessori, Waldorf, and a bit of Reggio Emilia. I believe there is more than one way for a child to learn. I encourage self-regulation, problem-solving, critical thinking, concept formation, and creativity, so every child gets a complete learning experience. I support each child's progress throughout their learning journey by continual observation, planning, documentation, and reflection. I also promote good manners and hygiene in my program.
  • Q. What's your school set-up like?

Our learning environment is bright and motivating with art materials and sensory tools to explore, a fun-filled library area, nutrition awareness, nature and science discovery, outdoor and indoor gross motor play, movement activities, early math, imaginary play, and much more!
  • Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

Children bring their lunches. I provide breakfast as well as morning and afternoon snacks.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know?

My program emphasizes the importance of intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development. The well-being of every child is vital, irrespective of their personal circumstances, such as race, religion, gender, disability, or cultural backgrounds.

About Our Parent Relationships

  • Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

Open and strategic communication to help each child thrive in their early childhood development. Parents know their child best; thus, mutual commitment and cooperation to facilitate a healthy learning environment is deeply beneficial.
  • Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?

Definitely! We have an open door policy. Parents are welcome to stop in anytime to actively bond with their child or to simply observe and offer constructive feedback.
