Ms. Stacy's Village

About Our Educators

  • Q. Why did you become an Educator?

My husband and I became educators because we want to invest our time in shaping the young minds of our community. Having a daughter of our own, we wanted to be apart of her growth and development while providing high-quality care to our small town.
  • Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

We are truly honored to have the opportunity to witness the joy and a child’s growth and development while they blossom into the human they will grow up to be.
  • Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

My husband and I are CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

Our family is Christian but Ms. Stacy's is not a faith-based program. We seek to be genuine, welcoming and loving in all manners.

About Our School

  • Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

Each child is unique and therefore should be encouraged, taught and loved in a manner that helps them to be the best unique, and most well-rounded individuals possible. At Ms. Stacy's it is our philosophy to provide the care and learning experience to accomplish just that.
  • Q. What's your school set-up like?

Ms. Stacy's is a home-based daycare that provides a home-away-from-home feel for every child. Our home-based experience is rooted in love, safety, and joy and is home for growth and memories to be made. We have both indoor and outdoor spaces for kids to explore!
  • Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

Ms. Stacy's Village provides a well-balanced breakfast, lunch, and snack per day for each child.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know?

Ms. Stacy's Village is run by my husband and me. We have a daughter who will be attending the program.

About Our Parent Relationships

  • Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

We expect to be partners with our parents in their child’s developmental journey and growth. We desire to do life with the families in a manner that is supportive, loving, honest, respectful and is founded on healthy and open communication and expectations in the child’s care.
  • Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?

We absolutely encourage parents to visit as long as it does not interfere with the quality of care of their child (for example if the child has separation problems, having the parents visit and then leave would be difficult). A notice as soon as possible that they will be visiting would be highly appreciated and welcomed as well.
