About Our Educators

  • Q. Why did you become an Educator?

I have always loved working with children! As a new mom, I see the importance of setting great examples for children to learn from and fostering a strong community for every child to grow in.
  • Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

My favorite part about being an Educator is watching children laugh, learn and grow each and every day. Early childhood development will always hold a special place in my heart. I truly believe there is no greater joy than watching a proud child figure something out that they have been learning, working on, or struggling with.
  • Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

From 6th to 12th grade I student taught in many different K-2 classes and volunteered at the local Head Start in Troy, Montana. My love for education led me to get my degree in Elementary Education with specializations in Early Childhood Development and Special Education from the University of Montana. Additionally, during my collegiate years, I worked at an after-school program called Campfire Western Montana where I served as a counselor.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

My husband, Luke, and I recently moved back to Troy, Montana before having our son, Rhett, who is now a one-year-old. Luke has a degree in Elementary Education and is currently the head varsity football coach at Troy High School. We love many different sports and outdoor activities such as football, basketball, baseball, hunting, fishing, camping or just simply playing outside. Other than being in the outdoors, some of my favorite things to do are DIY crafts, working in my planner, and reading books with our little one.

About Our School

  • Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

My biggest philosophy is to provide your child with a safe, creative, and comfortable environment for him or her to learn and grow. The first years of your child’s life are so full of growth and development and it is my job as an Educator to nurture every milestone.
  • Q. What's your school set-up like?

My program is held at WF Morrison Elementary School. We have a full classroom for my program with access to the school playground. We will hold separate outdoor time from the school’s regularly scheduled recess. We have different stations set up for play and exploration with different sensory experiences.
  • Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Any additional snacks you must send with your child.
  • Q. Anything else parents should know?

If you do not want to be charged for the days your child is gone, please let me know in advance (unless it is an emergency).

About Our Parent Relationships

  • Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

Honest and clear communication. As long as we are on the same page, I can make just about anything work. I always open to constructive feedback to make Little Foot Learning the best experience for your child to develop and grow.
  • Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?

Absolutely! We encourage parents to join us at any time! I will also have parent volunteer opportunities that will be shared throughout the year.
