About Our Educators

Q. Why did you become an Educator?

Finding a daycare program for my little girl Naiomi was hard. She has epilepsy, so all the programs I was looking at either wouldn’t take her, or the rates were extremely high. I decided I could provide excellent care for her at home, and I wanted to offer it to other kids as well.

Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

Being able to watch the kids grow and develop is so exciting and rewarding.

Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

I used to work with kids with special needs and was a Certifed Nurse Assistant for over four years. I have been working on ASL with my girls and will be implementing it in my program.

Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

I’m a triplet of girls and have a quadruplet of siblings that are 3 boys and a girl.

About Our School

Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

Each child should be encouraged to be themselves so they can grow physically and mentally in a safe positive environment outside their own home.

Q. What's your school set-up like?

We have a large play-room that is dedicated just to my program. I have different play stations set-up so kids can try a variety of activities. We also have a large outdoor space where we will spend time playing and exploring.

Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.

Q. Anything else parents should know?

We have 2 Guinea pigs named Harper & Scout that are in our classroom.

About Our Parent Relationships

Q. How do you communicate with parents?

We use Brightwheel where I can send daily updates. I also encourage check-ins at drop off and pick up.

Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

I respect the culture and close bonds that you have with your children. I want to work with you to create an environment that can be the next best thing to being with you.

Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?

Yes!
