About Our Educators

Q. Why did you become an Educator?

I became an educator to enjoy spending time with my babies and those that I take care of while running my own business and contributing to the household.

Q. What's your favorite part about being an Educator?

The ability to be around my children, and the kids in my program, to watch them grow, learn, and play. I also love watching them use their constructive thinking; it's amazing watching them problem solve at such a young age.

Q. Do you have any special experience parents should know about?

At Bounding Joy, we enjoy making crafts, going on outings, and exploring the world.

Q. Anything else parents should know about you or your family?

About Our School

Q. What's your early childhood education philosophy?

Children spend most of their lives in a structured school setting, so I believe that at this early stage in their life they should be learning through play and have the ability to direct where that play will take them.

Q. What's your school set-up like?

My setup is a very comfy home setting that allows the children to feel like they are in their own home.

Q. What snacks & meals do you provide?

Breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.

Q. Anything else parents should know?

I enjoy taking field trips outside my home that will require me to drive.

About Our Parent Relationships

Q. How do you communicate with parents?

Check-in's at drop off and pick up, text messages throughout the day, as well as phone calls and email.

Q. What do you expect from me as a parent?

Kindness and understanding as I do my absolute best to care for your children. Your kiddos are the most important part of my program, so I try to keep my administration duties to a minimum.

Q. Do you encourage visits from parents?

Parents are welcome to come and go as needed throughout the day.
