Doing exactly what it says on the tin, this place ain't nothin' but a blues bar - and there ain't nothin' wrong with that. The walls are covered with pictures and posters of famous blues musicians, sheet music is stuck to the ceiling and live blues is played on a small stage in the corner every night of the week.
Beers and wine and kept well and not over-priced considering the Soho location. This is quite possibly the only dedicated blues bar outside of the US so well worth a visit, blues fan or otherwise.

Being a blues singer harmonica player from Houston Texas i was treated great by the local players that backed me up and the crowd and staff. I will return soon and tell all my fellow Texas blues players not to miss this blues bar
Very good music, very good vibe, but: not good when old man starts to touch your bum completely unasked, creeping up to you, while you enjoy your music, asking you if you like what he does....well, fake tan, diamond in ear: not really, sorry...
This place a has a deserved reputation as one of the best blues clubs outside the USA. It has a genuine air of New Orleans or Chicago about it.It's a tiny place, with a tiny stage, but by 9 most nights those in the know are queuing to get in, and once you're in, you're not likely to leave, because it's always rockin' til closing time. When freinds visit London for the first time I always recommend it as somewhere to go (it helps if you kike the Blues, of course, but if you're open minded about music, you're sure to have a good time anyway). The last time I was in there TJ & the Demons were playing. They had the crowd going from the first number really, and the harmonica player's train tune was the highlight of the night. One tip...in the hot weather, leave your coat and bag at home.Though a change of shirt would be handy for the journey home!
