I am a regular coustomer there, there is a man who is always there and i am nearly 100% sure he is the owner of the restaurant. He has no respect for other people and always falls asleep while everyone is eating the dinner and is very rude, the food and service is not that bad.

Maybe this was a bad night for the restaurant but they really let themselves down when I visited. The food was average and the service was so poor that we did not pay the service charge shown on the bill. Right from the moment that we were seated in a dingy room at the back of the restaurant which was too cold to be comfortable we felt that this was not going to be a good experience. The service was surly with us being told that if we didn't order our mains with the starters then we would be waiting half an hour (This was after the peak time in the evening when the restaurant was emptying)As for their claim of the 'best curry in town' I don't believe they are the best curry in Picton place!
After six years, this is still the restaurant against which my family and I measure ALL Indian food! Not to mention bringing any and all friends visiting London or potentially going to London.
Great food and great service. So good we went back the next night for more. We spent two nights in London in September 2005 and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. We live in Los Angeles and can't get a good Indian meal - too far to travel, too expensive and they all close too early! The Amjadia gave us the fix we craved.
