The Cavendish Arms is a hidden gem only 6 mins walk from Stockwell tube. Recently refurbished, it now incorporates The Ballroom music venue which is home to live music 4 nights a week (see event calendar for details) plus the imminent return of the comedy club �Laughing Stockwell�, returning to The Cavendish Sunday nights from mid February.The pub has been refurbished in the style of a cosy front room... with comfy leather chesterfields, open fire and the smell of the delicious pieminister pies available reminding you of home cooking � Pies temporarily unavailable due to kitchen refurbishment� A selection of pies along with a new food menu will return in February!.Walking through from the pub to The Ballroom music venue you could be forgiven for thinking you were in a different era. The glamorous and intimate venue is reminiscent of an old theatre with beautiful atmospheric lighting setting the scene before the huge glitter ball starts up throwing dazzling light around the gold walls & black and white chequered dance floor.The Cavendish also boasts a large beer garden with vibrant plant displays and two large awnings with heaters ready and waiting for the spring to arrive.
