The Old Sergeant is a pub that serves a variety of beers, wines and spirits as well as traditional pub food. They can cater for private parties of up to 40 people and provide outside seating on the pavement. They show major sporting events on Sky TV. They have quiz nights and boast their own darts team.
The absolutely perfect local - post the refab has kept the great hospitality,food and drinks. And can guarantee will be packed with great atmos for viewing any top rated sports event on the box!

Old Sergeant, after the recent takeover is definitely a pub not to miss out. Great selection of world beers on tap - Red Stripe, Staropramen, Peroni, Erdinger as well as a selection of local ales, extensive wine list and a decent cocktail list. It has great menu-with your traditional Fish & Chips, Burgers, Bangers & Mash as well as impressive and frequently updated specials list. I must say the food is great-its all home cooked from fresh every single day. The burgers are the best i have ever tried and it has 2-4-1 burger nights on Mondays!Atmosphere is great, staff is extremely friendly and they really put the effort in to get to know the regulars.Overall a brilliant location for an evening meal with a bottle of wine, or for those Rugby mornings on big-screen and a full english (only at weekends). Well recommended
