It's not anything out of the ordinary, but this pub has got friendly staff (who didn't mind me sitting for hours on end working from there whilst waiting for several weeks until my home broadband was being set up!) and a less pretentious air about it than some other pubs in Primrose Hill. Not that the others are bad - but this is an altogether more down to earth establishment. The food isn't too exciting - a fish finger sandwich was about as far as I ventured, but it was tasty enough and ticked the boxes! It's close to home for me - but not sure how far I'd venture if it wasn't your local.

Maybe it's because I went to The Engineer treating it like a pub, but I wasn't overly keen. Not a massive amount of room other than dining, and out of all the Primrose Hill venues I've been to - this is the one I felt most out of place in! Maybe I'm a bit too Primark than Prada, but don't see myself running back!

Wasn't sure what to make of The Lansdowne, but a fantastic New Year's Eve party set me straight! Dancing on the tables, friendly staff and other customers changed my initial thoughts about this lovely pub. Always packed at weekends - worth a trip for the great gastro-pub style food.

Another not too posh Primrose Hill pub with cosy fires and a friendly atmosphere. Again - nothing out of the ordinary, but a perfectly pleasant drink or two can be had here!
