A generally grubby bar that seems to disregard the fact that people other than students enjoy a night out. 'No student card, no entry' seems in the main to be the policy. The toilets are what can only be described as disgusting - if you do plan a night out here avoid sandals at all costs! The music is fine - nothing to write home about but the bar is dark, dirty and in need of a revamp. All in all one to avoid.
Fantastic food, great value, extremely friendly atmosphere and I don't know about the others but the Rodley restaurant has the most incredible bathroom - almost worth a visit for that alone! As long as you have no problem with the waiters attempting to make you join them in a spot of dancing then this is definitely a great place to eat.
Fab is one of those places that you know you shouldn't really enjoy but you just can't help it. Dark and grimey it should be a place to avoid but it's got a great atmosphere and decor that is guaranteed to make any film buff smile. Fab is in no way overpriced and Saturday night is generally pretty busy. On the downside, the toilets could do with a clean and some of the bar staff could smile a little but other than that it's a lot of fun and definitely worth a visit.
