Broadway Place is open every day except for Sundays and Mondays, and this is surely the best Fish and Chips around SW19. A good vegetarian selection of fried fare as well as five types of fish served traditionally in batter with chips and mushy peas. Friendly service from the family who own the business, and disabled access to the restaurant. Prices in the licensed restaurant are higher, but takeaway is good value considering the freshness of the fish. No healthy salad options available, as this is very much a traditional fish and chip shop. I would have liked a bit more variety on the sit down menu.
Major drawback is the deserved holidays the staff take in summer and winter, during which the Broadway Place is closed, leading regulars to lose a little weight until they reopen.
