After reading past reviews of Beach Blanket Babylon, I was a bit hesitant about booking. However, I have to say that me and my girlfriend had a lovely meal here on the weekend. We arrived a half hour late for our reservation but the hostess was more than happy to accomodate us. The ambience is very unique, with french chateau furnishings and an abundance of flickering candles. Before we ordered from the menu, our waitress informed us that we were dining on the new menu....maybe BBB read the bad reviews and finally decided to do something about it!

I had a crayfish and crab remoulade starter, which was quite simply delicious. For main course I had the pork medallion wrapped in pancetta reasonably priced at £14 - yum yum yum. Service was impeccable and cocktails were sublime - try the porn star martini!
