"This cafe at the Brockwell Park Lido is an exciting new discovery for me. It's only open during the day, from 9.30-4.30 (I think it's 11-5 on Sundays), but it's a great place to meet friends for a relaxed breakfast or lunch. It's in the building of the Lido, and on one side you can see the huge turquoise pool, and if it's a nice day, sit in the covered area outside. Then, with a bit of sunshine, you can half believe yourself transported to the Caribbean, with the turquoise water, small palms in pots and a swag of yellow fabric increasing the sunny effect! The breakfasts are really good. I don't think this is a place to go if you are in a hurry - it's definitely a place to relax."
