The Thai food is simply presented, but good quality ingredients and freshly made food make this a pub Thai worth trying. Main dishes are between six and eight pounds. The pub and the Thai food are run by different people though so you can't put your drinks and food all on the same bill.Seating varies between low sofas, standard tables and high stools at a sort of breakfast bar level. Can probably seat around 50-60 people at a pinch (after that there are the bar areas). The restaurant area is in a conservatory at the back of the pub and there's a big glass ceiling and the room is decorated with old tin signs, bits of musical instruments and various other bits of old paraphenalia.Free wireless internet!However the English food menu is probably best avoided. The fish and chips were fine, but the sausages and mash used instant mash potato. And at six pounds for each, possibly a little pricey.The pub soft drink prices are also a little higher than might be expected for the area, with a pint of diet Coke coming in at ???2.60

"The King's Arms is everything a good pub should be. Great atmosphere any night of the week, with a good crop of locals propping up either of the two bars enjoying an excellent selection of beer and wine. The conservatory room out the back, lit by candles, is a great place to spend the evening, and the Thai food on offer is plentiful, cheap and delicious. Get yourself down there..."
