This is a superb little gem of a restaurant where you will always be made to feel welcome and where the service is superb. It's a bit of a hidden treasure at the moment (particularly at lunchtime), so go there and enjoy before everyone else finds out!

"Tucked away in Bermondsey on the corner of Southwark Park Road and Balaclava Street and is the orange exteriored Arancia. This gem of a restaurant is the answer of our dreams to those of us who live in the SE quadrangle south of the river. The food is excellent, way above average Italian cooking. The menu changes regularly and I've yet to have a disappointing meal there. Last week I had belly of pork with apple syrup and thought I had died and gone to heaven. Pasta is invariably original and very more-ish. Portions are generous too. The wine list is great and incredibly reasonably priced. Four of us last week had a 3 course meal with drinks before and plenty of wine and the bill was just over ?100.00. Some people carp about the service but we have always found it to be pleasant and efficient. I'll take friendliness over speed any day".
