I spent new years eve at oceana, cardiff and i must say it is the worst club i have ever been to.

15 pounds for and advance ticket, dosent sound bad. but when you arive, you find yourself queing for 30 mins in the cold. your ticket was not valid after 10pm so you had to get in early. once inside you que for another 30 min for the cloak room. Finally I got to the bar to be met with a 18 pound bill for 3 double vodkas and coke.

I can see why they call it the ice house as it was freezing inside, as they had no heating at all.

Then they decided that they sold too many tickets and decided not to let any more people goto the two bars on the top floor, without warning.

This was not good as my girlfriend and family was up there and i could not get to them. so i was not able to wish in the new years with them. i got my happy new years by txt message.

The bouncers were rude and causing more trouble then preventing it. They almost causing a riot on the stairs as a big bald bouser was reveling in his moment of power. Pushing people back phisically down the stairs and shouting the odds. There was women crying and men getting more and more angry. After all they only wanted to spend new years with there family and friends. one bouncer even called my mate a D***HEAD because he was pleading for the bouncer to let him pass.

In the comotion a female friend fell on the stairs and damaged her ligaments. 20mins later a first aider arrived on the scene. so she ended up in hospital.

I finally met my girlfriend, so we thought we would let of a party popper as its new years. then to my supprise a bouncer rushed over to me and agressivly threw me out. apparently the popper landed in his direction and that i had aimed it at him, as if. In the process of throwing me out he knocked my girlfriend to the floor, leaving her with bruses this morning.

It is safe to say I will not step foot in that place again. 200 pound lighter an a rubbish night to go with it
