last time i went to the forum was to see Trentemoller live and he absolutely blew me away
the venue was perfect for his performance, packed on the main floor but room to move and have a great view from upstairs... the perfect gig
having just been taken over and refurbed by robstar (mulletover promoter) this place is becoming one of east londons new hot spots!
they have some quality DJ line ups on offer all week with some very special guests every weekend
also i heard that on tuesday nights there's some free tucker going down with the quizz!
love this as a local hang out too
an incredible selection of authentic tequila and some great mexican food this place also has a club downstairs where the DJ fuses some latin grooves with some funk soul and disco
great vibe...
i used to love this place as a local.. really cool and friendly crowd and reasonably priced booze.. oh and sea sick steve doing an impromptu gig one night...
not sure what's going on now though... i think it's just been taken over and will probably loose it's cool
also im not sure if it was an honest mistake but the smug look on the barmans face when he handed me my change made me think not... they just charged me £4.60 for a pint of lager? rip off?!
dirty and overpriced... i mean seriously... £4.00 for a small bottle of cheap spanish lager to sit in what feels like a squat?! that's just greedy!
