Nice light fittings but apart from that a disappointment for me. The patrons were a gaggle of braying hair gelled over dressed twenty and thirty somethings in a bar that felt quite soulless. My other half’s cocktail was ok, but the ipod music was definitely not so.
I’ll give this place a miss until it develops a little character.

Sunday night was pretty packed, its easy to see that Gin Gin is a very popular place. A small bar with just about enough room to swing a cat, the clientèle are a mish mash, boho, studee, camp bunch out to socialise with friends over a drink or a cocktail.
An easy and convivial place, Gin Gins drinks in general are reasonably priced, this is not Merkaba or some old soaks pub in Shoreham but a comfortable place to while away an evening.
If I lived in Brighton I'd back in a shot.
Wish Ben all the best in his new venutre, this man bursts with passion about food!
Take the barriers away on Westbourne grove, let people mingle and dance with the bands. Make sure that the gaps between the bands are no more then 3 minutes on the procession route, nothing kills the vibe more then watching at an empty piece of tarmac for 20 minutes.
