Just went to this place last night and it wasn't that bad at all. The drinks were reasonably priced (had a long island iced tea pitcher for £10) and the decor was pretty decent. I wasn't overly enthused with the music policy but that's more of a personal preference rather than any fault with the DJ. For those who are wondering, the music was a blend of house, and commercial rnb/hiphop.
A decent place to spend a night out in Central London.
I did prefer Snobs back at the start of this decade when you'd hear the odd HipHop and leftfield dance track there. Nowadays when you go it's all indie which ain't bad if that's your thing but a bit of variety would be nice for me really.
What did I think of the Gate Bar? Well lemme see....the drink prices were slightly extortionate and the sound system wasn't the greatest I've ever heard. I wanted to be compelled to dance but quite frankly the bassline just wasn't enough to make me get jiggy.
Not really my cup of tea.
