Served and surrounded by a young crowd, mostly students, this Oxford pub, tucked tightly in the middle of the busy area surrounding the University, has a relaxing atmosphere thats easy to enjoy. With reasonably priced drinks and tasty food, it is not out of the ordinary to become a frequent goer.
By the time 12:00 rolled around, the place was jam packed and quite wild. With a respectful DJ who played what people wanted to hear and a friendly bar staff, it was not hard to enjoy Storm. The venue is the perfect size and the bathrooms were big enough to move around and not have to wait. The DJ knew how to be climactic and kept people around all night by playing his tracks in such an order that the songs kept getting more popular as the night went on. It was not until 2:00am when you heard fan favorites such as M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes."
Relaxing, comfortable, fun, and inviting, The Albany is one of the best places in London to have a genuinely good time while feeling like you’ve never left your flat. With friendly bar staff and en even friendly atmosphere, you know you’re in for a good night from the second you walk in. The reasonably priced variety of drinks complimented by delicious food are impossible not to enjoy when you can kick back onto a cozy leather couch surrounded by your friends. If you’re in the mood to abandon couch mode and dance, the downstairs portion is the place to be, equipped with a dance floor and a stage for bands and comedy shows.
