Cosies is a must for anyone new to bristol. I've not been during the day but as a place to go late at night and be assured of a buzzing, understated funky place to go and drink and have a bit of a dance (tiny dance space - but well used!). Its got a genuine inner city edgyness about it that generally adds to its charm though very occasionally it can make things mildly uncomfortable. But hey - if it felt too safe it would be dull - no?

There are so many restaurants in Bristol - but Bells always stands out for me. When you take a mouth full bells food its is always a treat for your taste buds - one of those rare occasions where you find yourself munching away going - ohh thats nice - whats that - and mmmm wow - as the second layer of flavour hits. The have great wine and 1 even have a sexy french waiter. What more could you want?
