Tara, whose previous boyfriends include jewellery heir Pascal Mouawad, added the singer is in a "happy place".

She explained: "He’s told me he’s over the stress now. People have a go at him for being ratty but it’s no wonder because he’s always surrounded by so many people wanting a piece of him."

Socialite Tara Palmer Tomkinson has joined the debate about whether Britain’s models are too skinny.

The size 0 epidemic, which started a couple years ago in LA, is sweeping across water to the UK.

Waif-thin Hollywood icons like Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and Kate Bosworth - who fluctuate between size 0 and 00 (UK size 2) - are the new pinup girls of trend-setting magazines and the public are crying out for magazines and designers to use larger models.

As London Fashion Week reaches a climax, Tara says: "I’ve seen some fabulous shows. I think there’s a lot of hype about nothing about these girls being a size 0 and stuff... I think they all look completely healthy, completely beautiful.

"I think everyone’s getting a bit over-dramatic as usual."

And Tara believes that sometimes people like herself are just naturally skinny: "It’s amazing the amount of people that come up and go, ’God you are so thin.... you’re too thin’.

"You wouldn’t go up to someone and go ’You are too fat’, as it’s so rude. I actually find it quite offensive they way people come up and say you’re too thin. Weight is your personal thing."

Could Tara Palmer Tomkinson be heading for the charts?  There have been rumours before but now news reaches us that she’s been in serious talks with pop mogul Louis Walsh about releasing material.  As a gifted classical pianist Tara obviously has an ear for a tune but somehow we can’t imagine her doing one of Louis’ preferred stool-top ballads.  Come to think of it we can’t really imagine her being able to balance on a stool at all.

TPT is reportedly delighted with her new honker after undergoing surgery to correct a collapse caused by cocaine abuse.  The socialite underwent a £6000 operation at London’s exclusive Princess Grace hospital in which cartilege was taken from her ear and inserted in to the collapsed septum.  She is said to be delighted with the improvement and pictures have certainly shown her looking swollen but happy.

Tara Palmer Tomkinson has reportedly been having a steamy affair with Robbie Williams. According to Closer magazine the pair, who have known each other for ten years, got together after she split with posh whinger James Blunt. Previously Robbie had called Tara ’one of the sexiest creatures on earth’ while she was bemused at his inability to get a girlfriend and for just a week and a half they decided to get a little bit closer. A friend of TPT says they spent ten days locked up in a New York hotel room watching DVDs, eating takeout and ... well, much more besides.

However Robbie is now furious that Tara, who described him as an ’Elvis’ in the sack, couldn’t keep her mouth shut about her pop-conquest, "you’d think a posh girl would have more class. Especially one that old," he apparently fumed.
