Tara's album plug - Feb 15 2008
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has apparently joked that she will be giving away free earplugs with her upcoming album.
The socialite - who won BBC singing contest Comic Relief Does Fame Academy last year - is worried not everyone will enjoy her singing when she launches her music career, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Tara, 36, is quoted as saying: "I've got my album Imperfection coming out in two months, but don't worry, it comes with a pair of free earplugs."
But brunette Tara also revealed that she has been training to make sure her voice is in tip top condition.
"After Fame Academy I had voice training every day because you have to train it like you do your body," the celeb revealed.
"I am also singing at an after-show party for the Brit Awards, and doing a night at GAY, so it's important to get it right."
Naked Tara was stopped by police? - Jan 4 2008
It girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson has apparently revealed how she was once stopped by the police - for running across a bridge naked.
The former I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant told the Evening Standard: "The naughtiest thing I’ve done is run across Chelsea Bridge with just my heels and diamonds on - I was picked up by the police on my way back!"
It seems Tara, who was runner-up on the reality show in 2002, likes a good dare - and blames it on going to boarding school.
"You can never, ever, refuse a dare, not if you’ve been to boarding school," she apparently said.
The 36-year-old also claimed she always sets off security alarms because she once swallowed a £10,000 diamond ring.
She said: "Someone hid it in chocolate pudding and then had too much to drink and forgot to tell me, so I just ate the whole thing.
"I think the ring’s now lodged in my pancreas because every time I go through security at Heathrow I beep!"
Tara hits the slopes for TV? - Dec 20 2007
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is reportedly set to glide to the aid of Ski Sunday in an attempt to boost its ratings.
Producers at the BBC have apparently lined up the It Girl and other stars to compete in a weekly slalom race on the show, presented by top skier Graham Bell, to bring the format up-to-date, reports The Sun.
An insider told the paper: "Bosses were worried the show was a bit old-fashioned, so they have spruced it up with a few stars. They didn’t want the ratings dropping off."
It is hoped the new slot will be a huge success with viewers.
The source added: "It’s a bit like what happened to Top Gear. The giant slalom stunt will be like the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car bit that Jeremy Clarkson and the guys do each week."
Other stars lined up apparently include Ben Fogle, newsreader Fiona Bruce, comic Marcus Brigstocke and former athlete Colin Jackson.
The show, which is now in its 30th year, is due to have an hour-long primetime slot at 7pm on BBC Two when it returns on January 20.
Gang stole Tara’s car, court told - Dec 10 2007
A multi-million pound "car-ringing" gang stole socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson’s BMW in a Gone in 60 Seconds blitz on luxury "must haves", a court has heard.
During their spree they targeted the capital’s up-market driveways with a shopping list of top-of-the-range four-wheelers.
Once their keys had been stolen during burglaries, or bogus documents and false names used to obtain copies from dealers abroad, the "targets" were quietly driven away.

Tara made a comeback with an appearance on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! She won the nation’s hearts with her ditzy upper class ways and was soon a regular on our screens. She was given a behind the scenes show for the next series of I’m A Celeb, which she continues to present in her own inimitable style.
Although a classically trained concert pianist Tara is undoubtedly better known for her high profile relationships with the likes of Robbie Williams and Duncan James. She has also been linked to posh popstar James Blunt.
In 2006 Tara hit the headlines again - her nose had collapsed in response to her years of cocaine abuse. However, Tara underwent surgery to correct the problem and has since been working on a pop career. Rumour has it that she has been working closely with Louis Walsh to change her tabloid image and top the charts.
