"Cheryl, if you’re reading this, I may not be as pretty as you but at least I write and SING my own songs without the aid of autotune. I must say taking your clothes off, doing sexy dancing and marrying a rich footballer must be very gratifying, your mother must be so proud, stupid bitch."

Fears for Lily over blog comments - May 14 2007
Pop star Lily Allen has worried fans by posting an online message in which she complains of being "fat and ugly".
The 22-year-old singer has been hailed as a role model for girls because she is not a size zero.
But she writes on her Myspace blog: "I used to pride myself on being strong-minded and not being some stupid girl obsessed with the way I look.
"I felt like it didn’t matter if I was a bit chubby ’cause I’m not a model, I’m a singer.
"I’m afraid I am not strong and have fallen victim to the evil machine. I write to you in a sea of tears from my hotel bed in
Hundreds of fans have bombarded Lily’s site with messages of support.
The singer recently launched her own range of clothes for High Street chain New Look.
Asked about supermodel Kate Moss’s rival collection for Top Shop, Lily said: "I don’t think I’d fit in them. All my dresses are super-girlie but that doesn’t mean you have to be a size zero. The more curves the better. Fashion is for everyone, not just super-skinny models."
The singer is currently in the
She titled her blog "fat, ugly and sh**er than Winehouse" - a reference to Amy Winehouse, who is also trying to break
Lily: It’s sad to queue - May 11 2007
Lily Allen has apparently told fans that it would be "sad and stupid" to queue for hours to buy her new clothing range for New Look.
The feisty songstress said it wouldn’t be worth the effort - because her line of dresses and trainers will never sell out.
She told the Daily Star: I hope no-one was sad enough to queue up for it. Queuing for hours and hours is stupid. It could be avoided if fashion companies didn’t hype everything so much.
"We all know that if the shop runs out of stock they’ll order more, so what’s the point of queueing? It’s part of the whole lie.
"I don’t think we will sell out of my clothes. I’m not Kate Moss."
It seems the mouthy singer does have a point - when her Lily Loves line launched earlier this week at new Look’s flagship store on

As the daughter of Britpop icon Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, Lily Allen (born May 2 1985) was destined to be famous. Born in Hammersmith, London, she moved around a lot as a child, living in Ireland’s Co Kildare before eventually settling in Islington.
With early dreams of pop stardom Lily was signed to Warner Bros in 2002 thanks, in no small part, to her father. However the partnership was short lived and in 2005 she signed to the lesser known Regal. Despite reported pressure to release pop songs she instead decided to release her tracks for free download on MySpace.com. It was through the website that she found fame, becoming a true internet star before even releasing a single. The buzz created though resulted in a rush release of LDN on limited edition 7" in early 2005.
In 2006 Lily released her debut album Alright, Still to critical and public acclaim, reaching number 2 in the UK charts. She also released Smile, the track which finally launched her in to the public’s conciousness. This was followed by a full re-release of LDN.
