Kate makes donation to Camden pub? - Feb 15 2008
Kate Moss is apparently donating rock n roll memorabilia to The Hawley Arms after the pub’s own collection was destroyed in Saturday’s fire.
A regular at the burned down watering hole in Camden, north London, Kate has offered a Sid Vicious painting, some Primal Scream golden discs and guitars signed by alleged boyfriend Jamie Hince’s band, The Kills, the Mirror reports.
The Hawley Arms’ sister tavern, The Wilmington in Farringdon, London, will reportedly house the remaining scorched collectibles before a planned refurbishment and reopening of The Hawley in six months.
Wilmington landlady Ruth Mottram is quoted in the paper as saying: "We’ll create a wall with rock memorabilia from The Hawley to keep the spirit alive."
The Hawley Arms was ravaged by fire when a blaze erupted at Camden Market on Saturday night. It was once associated with Hell’s Angels but had become a popular nightspot with celebrities often among the clientele.
Kate to launch second scent? - Feb 4 2008
Kate Moss has apparently revealed she plans to launch more scents following the success of her first perfume.
The supermodel, who recently celebrated her 34th birthday, added to her millions last year when she launched her signature scent, which was, very simply, called Kate.
And the cover girl is quoted by the Daily Express as saying: "With the first one I wanted a scent that really relates to me - with attitude, a lightness but also a dark side lurking underneath. This was the first scent. I really want there to be more."
And it seems that’s not the only plan up Kate’s rather stylish sleeve - it was recently reported that the star would take Princess Beatrice on a fashion tour of New York and introduce the young Royal to all her fashion designer pals, before helping her to pick out a new wardrobe.
Kate splashes out on new London pad? - Jan 15 2008
Kate Moss has apparently bought herself a rather extravagant birthday present - a plush new £8 million pad.
The supermodel, who turns 34 on Wednesday, has splashed out on a detached home in swanky St John’s Wood - just round the corner from her best pal Davinia Taylor and the rest of the Primrose Hill set, reports the Daily Star.
A source was quoted as saying: "Kate has been on the hunt for a new house for a little while now. She likes a lot of space for socialising and does not like to feel she is falling over herself."
And it seems the purchase has come just in time, as Kate is reportedly planning a 34-hour birthday party, which will kick off at top nightclub Mahiki. Gifts and outfits will apparently be themed around 1974, the year the cover girl was born.

After a series of shoots for teenage magazines, it was Harper’s Bazaar that finally launched her into the international arena. In 1992, she became the Face of Calvin Klein. Moss originally spearheaded the controversial "waif" look which critics claimed encouraged anorexia in impressionable teenagers. The girl from Croydon, who once said she "might’ve been a bank manager" now divides her time between London and LA, where she is often seen at The Viper Rooms, the controversial club owned by her one-time actor boyfriend Johnny Depp.
She has appeared in several notable documentaries about the fashion world and in 1995, released a hard-back book of pictures entitled simply "Kate". Having checked into London’s £300-a-day Priory Clinic in November 1998 suffering from exhaustion, Kate emerged refreshed the following January to announce that she had spent the last decade modelling "drunk". She told The Face magazine, "That’s what you do. You always have champagne before the shows. Always. Even at ten in the morning. It got to the point one time when we were [saying], ’We’re not going out without any champagne’."
Losing the Calvin Klein contract to fellow Brit Lisa Ratliffe in 1999, Kate has now taken on the status of fashion icon. In the May 2000 issue of Vogue, she played muse to a variety of the most cutting edge artists and photographers. In London she is still represented by Storm. Written in 2000
