- Profession: Model
- Place/Date of Birth: Croydon, London, England, 16 January 1974
- Associated with: Jamie Hince, Pete Doherty, Sadie Frost
But it seems the other member of the rock duo, Alison Mosshart, has reportedly objected to Kate joining them on stage - as she used to do with former beau Pete Doherty and his band Babyshambles.
"Alison has been effing and blinding about it," a source told the Daily Mirror.
The source apparently added: "She has told Kate to keep her hands off the mic. Alison and Jamie have worked for years to make a name for themselves and have only recently had the success she thinks they deserve.
"She sees Kate as a spanner in the works and, until she came along, Alison always came first with Jamie."
Moss’s stalker fear - Mar 14 2008
Kate Moss is apparently living in fear as two obsessed fans have started stalking her.
The supermodel’s idyllic Cotswolds retreat has been ruined by two young girls in a blue Renault Clio who keep a constant vigil on Kate’s country house in Little Farringdon whenever she visits, according to the Daily Mirror.
Kate reportedly told friends: "I’m really scared... I think they are stalking me. They’re always here, doing nothing. It’s freaking me out."
When the 34-year-old model’s friends first approached the girls, they were told their car had broken down. But after spotting them for the sixth time Kate, who has a five-year-old daughter Lila Grace, is said to have panicked.
A source told the newspaper: "It’s really spooky and totally freaking Kate out. The girls are just weird. There are often a couple of photographers outside the house, and even they are suspicious of these girls.
"They just sit and stare at the house for hours on end. And if anyone approaches them, they drive around the back of the house and then come back.
"Kate has thought about calling the police, but they can’t be prosecuted for just sitting on the road. It’s started to get really unnerving."
Kate’s healthy diet - Feb 26 2008
Kate Moss has reportedly been put on a healthy eating regime by her pal Sadie Frost’s mother.
Sadie’s mum Mary Davidson, 58, has apparently moved in with the supermodel to act as live-in nanny to her five-year-old daughter Lila Grace, and she has started to monitor Kate’s diet as well, reports the Daily Express.
Mary has apparently advised the 34-year-old cover girl to lay off fry-ups in case it takes its toll on her skin. The paper says she’s told Kate to stick to healthy, energising food like muesli, salads, oily fish and smoothies.
A source said the catwalk queen - who is stepping out with The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince - has taken to the healthy living, saying: "Kate is responding well to having a surrogate mother and is in agreement about her diet.
"The bacon butties have flown out the window."
Kate the crime fighter? - Feb 16 2008
Kate Moss has apparently become something of a crime-fighter in her new neighbourhood, with reports that her arrival has made the area safer.
Residents of St John’s Wood, north-west London, say that bodyguards, paparazzi and a more visible police presence - all down to the model - have made it more difficult to commit crime, the Daily Star reports.
Kate, 34, moved to the trendy district a few weeks ago, and since then a decapitated body has been discovered by police within a mile of her new home, but local Alan Lydon told the paper: "There are a lot of dimly-lit streets and now we’ve got paparazzi everywhere.
"And the police presence is bigger and more visible now Kate’s a local."

After a series of shoots for teenage magazines, it was Harper’s Bazaar that finally launched her into the international arena. In 1992, she became the Face of Calvin Klein. Moss originally spearheaded the controversial "waif" look which critics claimed encouraged anorexia in impressionable teenagers. The girl from Croydon, who once said she "might’ve been a bank manager" now divides her time between London and LA, where she is often seen at The Viper Rooms, the controversial club owned by her one-time actor boyfriend Johnny Depp.
She has appeared in several notable documentaries about the fashion world and in 1995, released a hard-back book of pictures entitled simply "Kate". Having checked into London’s £300-a-day Priory Clinic in November 1998 suffering from exhaustion, Kate emerged refreshed the following January to announce that she had spent the last decade modelling "drunk". She told The Face magazine, "That’s what you do. You always have champagne before the shows. Always. Even at ten in the morning. It got to the point one time when we were [saying], ’We’re not going out without any champagne’."
Losing the Calvin Klein contract to fellow Brit Lisa Ratliffe in 1999, Kate has now taken on the status of fashion icon. In the May 2000 issue of Vogue, she played muse to a variety of the most cutting edge artists and photographers. In London she is still represented by Storm. Written in 2000
