The birth comes a year after Jordan, 29, suffered a miscarriage which left the couple "devastated".

The model was delighted to discover she was expecting a girl this time around.

"I’m very excited. I’ve got my three boys and a little princess," she said recently.

She has denied reports that she plans to name the baby Crystal, the title of her latest novel.

Heavily-pregnant Jordan has been told to slow down by her doctor amid fears over her health as she nears the due date of her third child.

The 29-year-old apparently cancelled book signings for her novel Crystal last week, after admitting the pregnancy has left her "exhausted", Closer reports.

She said: "I should be enjoying the moments up to when my baby’s born, but my doctor has said I’m exhausted and it’s not good for me. I hate to let people down but I have to think of my health for once."

The glamour model added that she wasn’t really looking forward to the birth.

"I’m really dreading having an epidural when I’m in labour. I have a real needle phobia, so I’m having therapy with a doctor about it."

Poor Jordan, who already has two sons and is expecting a daughter, has suffered a few traumas during her pregnancy.

Hubby Peter Andre is still recovering from meningitis he contracted in April and her eldest son, Harvey, was rushed to hospital earlier this month.

She may be about to give birth any minute - but that hasn’t made Jordan postpone her forthcoming book tour.

The glamour model is busy promoting her new novel, Crystal - a follow-up to her best-seller, Angel, as well as being followed round by cameras for her ITV2 reality show, Katie And Peter: The Next Chapter.

"We’ve got a heli pad sorted in every area that I’m going to just in case I go into labour," she said.

The curvy star was also keen to clear up the rumours about her son Harvey’s latest accident.

"I just want to clear something up - he did not fall into a mirror, me and Pete were at Toys R Us buying their birthday presents, the nanny had him and the mirror fell on my nanny, which is why she’s off as well, and fell on Harvey," she said.

"It just always seems to happen to Harvey when I’m not home and that’s the most frustrating thing."

Jordan and Peter Andre have revealed they are expecting a girl.

The couple, who already have sons Harvey and Junior, they are delighted at the news.

The pair have had a run of bad luck this year after Harvey scalded his leg and Pete spent time in hospital with meningitis. Last week, Harvey was admitted into hospital again - after having an accident with a mirror.

The model, whose real name is Katie Price, told OK! magazine: "Something good’s happened finally! I kind of feel like I won’t believe it until she’s born healthy though. We’re over the moon and in shock.

"We’ve had such a s*** year and Pete’s been wanting to know the sex all the way through so I thought, you know what, let’s find out!"

Pete added: "It was better than we ever expected. I mean, we were really excited if it was going to be a boy, but this is off the scale."

Jordan admitted she can’t wait to dress her new daughter up.

She added: "I’m really looking forward to going out and buying all pink stuff and making her room girly and pink!"
