Jordan’s baby is a princess - July 24 2007
Jordan and Peter Andre have named their baby daughter Princess Tiaamii.

Tiaamii - pronounced tee-ah-me - is taken from the names of Peter’s mother Thea and Jordan’s mother Amy.

Glamour model Jordan - real name Katie Price - explained to OK! magazine: "Her name is Princess Tiaamii. Princess because she is our princess and Tiaamii was Pete’s idea because it’s taken from our mums’ names.

"We’ve put an accent over the first ’a’ to make it a bit more exotic and two ’i’s at the end just to make it look a bit different.

"We love it because it’s unique, plus it means something special to us. I’m going to get a tattoo on the back of my neck with a crown and ’Princess’ underneath."

Singer Peter added: "Katie always loved the name Princess but everyone thought it was a bit over the top. I loved it too but I wanted to name her after both our mums and then I just woke up one morning and thought ’I know! We’ll just put them together!’.

"If people don’t like it, that’s up to them. We’re really happy and proud."

Princess is the couple’s first daughter. She was born three weeks ago and Jordan nicknamed her Bunny.

The glamour model turned novelist considered calling the baby Tinkerbell, she revealed, but rejected it as too many celebrities have chosen it for their dogs.


Jordan speaks about new baby - July 4 2007
Jordan has lifted the lid on her new baby girl - reportedly declaring "all newborn babies are ugly!"

The glamour model gave birth by Caesarean section last week and the star, whose real name is Katie Price, is planning on taking some time off.

"I’m going to take eight weeks off this time," she told OK! magazine. "Before, with Junior, I went back to work too soon and I’m never, ever, ever doing that again."

Talking about her baby daughter, she added: "I think all newborn babies are ugly. They look like little old men. I think they need a few weeks to grow into themselves. I remember Junior looked like he had a big nose. People go, ’Aw how cute’ and I think, ’No, how ugly!’. It’s very rare you find a cute one so young but Junior’s gorgeous now."

She said the baby, "has massive eyes" and is a mixture of her and husband, Peter Andre.

She also admitted that she was pleased to have more females in her brood.

"There will definitely be more pink in the house and it will be nice to have a girl on my side," she smiled.


Baby girl for glamour model Jordan - June 29 2007
Jordan gave birth to a baby girl today.

The baby was born at 8.49am by Caesarean section at London’s private Portland Hospital, weighing 6lb 13oz.

This is the second child for the glamour girl (real name Katie Price) and pop star Peter Andre.

They already have a two-year-old son, Junior. Jordan has a five-year-old son, Harvey, from a previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.

"Peter Andre and Katie Price are happy to announce the birth of their first daughter," said a statement released on behalf of the couple.

"Both Peter and Katie are absolutely over the moon with the new addition to their family and delighted to have a sister for Harvey and Junior - it is a dream come true.

"Both Katie and the baby are healthy and happy, and will be spending the next few days resting in hospital."
