The heartthrob actor has said there’s no truth to the rumours about him being engaged to the brunette, reports People.com.
"These reports are not true," the Ocean’s Thirteen star said through his Los Angeles-based representative Stan Rosenfield.
The Hollywood rumour mill has been in overdrive since hunky George, 46, started stepping out with Sarah, 29, last year. The actor, who has long been one of Tinseltown’s most eligible bachelors, fuelled the rumours when he took the former Fear Factor contestant to last month’s Academy Awards, as he’s apparently never taken a date to the glitzy event in the past.
It’s also been reported that George has invited Sarah to meet his family and it’s thought she’s planning to spend the spring with him in Italy, where the A-lister has a home on picturesque Lake Como.
Clooney ’faced red carpet demands’ - Feb 27 2008
George Clooney’s girlfriend apparently demanded he take her to the Oscars.
The Ocean’s Thirteen star - who has been dating former cocktail waitress Sarah Larson for almost a year - usually likes to walk the red carpet solo, but Sarah insisted she be allowed to accompany him, according to the Daily Express.
A source told the newspaper: "Sarah made a point of telling George she wanted to go to the Oscars - she wouldn’t take no for an answer.
"George finally agreed but apparently on condition she didn’t talk to anyone on the red carpet. Sarah was the perfect companion and everyone saw what a lovely couple they are."
The 46-year-old actor reportedly kept 28-year-old Sarah at close quarters all night to ensure she didn’t talk to any reporters.
There have been rumours that previously carefree bachelor George may be planning to tie the knot with Sarah.
Stars put on the style for Oscars - Feb 25 2008
Hollywood stars dazzled as the 80th annual Oscars got under way.
A hastily-erected tent over the red carpet protected the actors and actresses as wind and rain threatened to dampen the ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard.
As the Academy Awards show drew near, thousands of fans saw the stars begin to arrive at the Kodak Theatre, where security was tight as police marksmen took up positions on nearby rooftops.
Hollywood’s biggest night went ahead after a writers’ strike which crippled the entertainment industry and reduced the Golden Globes to a glorified press conference was resolved earlier this month.
Fans screamed as George Clooney led Sarah Larson along the red carpet more than two hours before the ceremony was set to start.
Best actor nominee George joked that he never got tired and never had a bad day.
"It’s a fun one this time because it’s a film we’re all really proud of so it’s easy to be here and be a part of this," he told E.
Asked why he was so active with various charitable projects around the world, Clooney said: "If you get the opportunity to do it and you don’t, I think it’s shameful.
"I think it’s mostly about waking up and being able to look yourself in the mirror."
He added that he spent Valentine’s Day with Larson in Las Vegas.
George not optimistic about Oscar - Feb 22 2008
George Clooney has apparently admitted he isn’t optimistic about his chances of winning the Best Actor Oscar.
And the hunky actor believes There Will Be Blood star Daniel Day-Lewis gave this year’s best performance.
"For me, it’s like being Hillary Clinton," the Michael Clayton star told Time magazine, referring to the US presidential race.

As a child George often spent time on set with his father, even taking part in shows he was involved in. Despite some early promise as an athlete - even trying out for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team in 1977 - and an attempt at further education (never a promising student, he dropped out of both Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati), George soon followed in the showbiz family footsteps, auditioning for several parts in television series’. He was first noticed thanks to a role on the popular sitcom Roseanne during the 1980s but it wasn’t until 1994 and a part as handsome, moody Doctor Doug Ross in fast paced drama ER (not to be confused with Clooney’s earlier role in comedy E/R), that the actor really hit the big time.
With five years as Dr Doug under his belt Clooney made the leap to movies, starring in From Dusk ’Til Dawn, Three Kings, The Perfect Storm and O Brother, Where Art Thou? to much acclaim. He had also starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in Out of Sight and taken on the role of Batman during his ER years, ensuring he was now Hollywood A-list.
However it was his relationship with Out of Sight Director Stephen Soderburgh that would ensure Clooney made film history. The duo paired up for the first in a blockbusting franchise in 2001 - Ocean’s Eleven, and its successors, would team Clooney with fellow heartthrobs Brad Pitt and Matt Damon and hit the number one spot worldwide. Although the role of Danny Ocean would ensure Clooney’s continuing popularity with the public he was also determined to show he was more than a pretty face and a winning smile. In 2002 he made his directorial debut with Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, although not a huge box office success the film won critical acclaim.
This was just the beginning of Clooney’s critical success. He soon followed Confessions with Good Night and Good Luck, which earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. In the same year he was nominated for, and went on to win, Best Supporting Actor for his role in Syriana.
Clooney has since teamed up with Soderburgh not only on further Oceans movies but on The Good German, released in 2006. Away from the film set he is an active campaigner having been outspoken about not only the Iraq war but the Darfur crisis and global warming. There have even been rumours that he may enter politics, however Clooney himself says ’run for office? No...I’ve slept with too many women, taken too many drugs and I’ve been to too many parties.’
A confirmed bachelor, George was previously married to fellow actor Talia Balsam, from 1989 to 1993 and was linked to British model Lisa Snowdon on and off for some time. However he claims he will never again marry or have children, preferring to spend time with friends including Oceans co-stars Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts and, until recently, his pot bellied pig Max, who died in 2006.
