Speaking from the red carpet for Vogue magazine’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Mexico event, Eva flashed her wedding ring and smiled, but gave few details about her life with new husband Tony Parker, a guard for the San Antonio Spurs.

The actress said she always tries to support Latin designers.

"My wedding dress was by (Venezuelan) Angel Sanchez, and I try to do my best to wear as many Latino designers as I can," she said, showing off a short, strapless violet dress by Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta.

The Texas native, whose family is originally from Monterrey, Mexico, said she was happy to be back in the Mexican capital. It was her first visit to Mexico City in 15 years.

"My husband (in the series) Ricardo Antonio Chavira and myself, we’re very, very proud to represent Latinos everywhere, all over the world, and we’re happy to see positive images of Latinos on television," she said.

A spoof sex tape of Eva Longoria has apparently hit the internet - and it seems the actress herself was behind it.

It turns out the Desperate Housewives star has been playing a prank on the US gossip tabloids, courtesy of actor and comedian Will Ferrell’s Funny Or Die website.

The video itself - which many magazines had reportedly hinted would be a serious sex tape - is shot in night-vision with a fake time stamp of Feb 3, 2004, and is made to look like it was created before she shot to fame and married NBA star Tony Parker.

The film features Eva in bed with little-known comedian called Perry Hilton, but as far as bedroom antics go the video is more silly than sexy.

The actress and comedian appear eating burritos, jumping on the bed together and arranging Eva’s hair, while the actress comments: "I look good in night vision."

The video also shows the actress asking: "Are you sure no one is ever going to see this because one day I might want to marry a really cute basketball player or something like that?"

Speaking on American radio, Eva told KIIS-FM radio show host Ryan Seacrest she’d had a blast making the spoof.

"I’m so amused. It’s so funny. Oh my gosh. I’ve gotten like 100 calls on it saying it’s so hilarious," she laughed.
