Catherine Zeta Jones and hubby Michael Douglas are to star together in a play called Private Lives on London’s West End.

They will play divorcees honeymooning in the same hotel with their new spouses. The couple last worked together in the movie Traffic.

Catherine Zeta Jones has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

The Oscar-winning actress gave birth to 6lb 12oz Carys Zeta Douglas on Sunday morning at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Her publicist, Cece Yorke, said: "They’re all doing fantastic." Zeta Jones, 33, won an Oscar last month for Best Supporting Actress in the musical Chicago.

Hello Catherine wins! - 11/04/03
Hollywood couple Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas have won damages in their fight against Hello! Magazine.

In a statement the couple welcomed the judgement. ’We deeply appreciate that the court has recognised the principle that every individual has the right to be protected from excessive and unwanted media intrusion into their private lives.’

T he six-week hearing concluded that Hello! is liable for damages after publishing unauthorised photos of the Douglases’ 2000 New York wedding.

The Welsh pregnant actress collected the Oscar for her portrayal of ruthless murderess Velma Kelly. She dedicated the Oscar to husband Michael Douglas, son Dylan and her hometown of Swansea.

She said: "To everybody in Swansea, South Wales - I love you. To my son Dylan watching at home, and to my husband who I love, I share this award with you."

Being eight and a half months pregnant will not stop Catherine from performing a song and a dance on stage at the Oscars.

She is going to perform a duet with co-star Queen Latifah, which is normally enough to get the attention from the audience. However, there is the added drama of possibly an early labour for Catherine - as the extra activity may bring on the baby! There will be a full medical crew waiting in the wings, just in case.

Catherine is tipped to win a Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars on 23 March. The ad reads: "Dear Catherine/Mom, we know how hard you worked and we know what a joy it turned out to be. We love you, Michael and Dylan."
