Angelina Jolie took her star power to Baghdad on a mission as a UN goodwill ambassador to highlight the plight of Iraqi refugees.

The Hollywood actress said there needs to be a more coherent plan as the more than two million displaced Iraqis begin to trickle back to their homes amid a recent lull in violence that had threatened to spark a civil war in the country.

"There’s lots of goodwill and lots of discussion, but there seems to be just a lot of talk at the moment," she said in an interview on CNN.

"What happens in Iraq and how Iraq settles in the years to come is going to effect the entire Middle East," she added.

"And a big part of what it’s going to effect, how it settles, is how these people are returned and settled into their homes."

Brad Pitt has great taste in women - his girlfriend, Angelina Jolie, has been voted the the year’s sexiest female celebrity, according to visitors to Playboy.com.

She beat fellow actresses Scarlett Johansson, who came in second place, and Jessica Alba, who was third.

Hugh Hefner’s three girlfriends, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, who star in the US reality show The Girls Next Door, took fourth place.

"For our annual sexiest celebrities list, we always get votes from readers on the internet of who should be on the top of the list," says Hugh.

"As the votes were coming in, we found the girls moving up higher and higher on the list. Yes, there was some favouritism involved. I know them personally."

Other stars who made it onto the list include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alicia Keys, Cameron Diaz, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.

Angelina’s good news comes amid new rumours that she is pregnant again, fuelled by the billowing Hermes gown she wore at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

One attendee told US Weekly: "It was so obvious she was pregnant. You could see the bump’s outline," while a friend told OK!: "The minute she’s pregnant, she just glows. She’s the type that doesn’t want to scream it to everyone, but she has the quiet, expectant mother glow."
