Harry Potter star and Oxford gal Emma Watson demonstrated her artistic skills for charity Kith & Kids recently.

Kith & Kids is a charity that works with disabled children and young people. Emma and her HP co-star Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) contributed a painting each that the charity are putting up for sale.

Emma called her painting Teddy Bears Picnic and said ’I am a big fan of Art which I have always enjoyed, so it was a pleasure for me to be given the opportunity by ’Kith & Kids’ to paint a picture for them.’

Her picture is priced at £100, so lets hope it raises some much needed funds!

Biography

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Oxfordshire, England on April 15, 1990. She took the lead role in several plays at school, and participated in many other school productions, including the Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition, in which she won first place for her year at the age of seven.

The role of Hermione Granger is Emma’s debut into professional acting - and what a debut! Emma didn’t expect to get the part at all, as she was competing against so many other actresses. But luckily for Harry Potter fans - she did!

Away from acting, Emma is an avid hockey player, recently receiving her colors for the school team. She also enjoys rounders and netball, and likes to take part in all kinds of school activities including athletics and sculling. Her parents are both lawyers and are divorced, so Emma lives with her mother and younger brother Alex, 9.
