Emma Watson sparked rumours she is dating Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell after they were seen together at a party.

The Harry Potter actress - who is just 17 years old - posed for pictures with the 27-year-old rocker at the Vanity Fair and Burberry Portraits party at London’s National Portrait Gallery.

A source told the Daily Express: "She and Johnny were posing for the cameras as a couple, there was no question about that. They arrived together and left together."

But though the pair shared a taxi after leaving the party at 9pm, Johnny was then reportedly pictured leaving The Dorchester Hotel at 2am, sharing a taxi with a mystery brunette, according to London Lite.

A witness said: "It had been a hard night of partying. They both looked very the worse for wear."

Hell-raiser Johnny split from girlfriend Kirsten Dunst last year and she checked into rehab earlier this month.

He said of their relationship: "She believes in equality, that a bloke should chip in with the housework, but I’m messy. She couldn’t stand the smell of stale fags, beer and kebabs in her nice living room."

Emma split from rugby player Tom Ducker, 17, last November after three months together.

Emma Watson has admitted she never has to work again as her role in the Harry Potter films has earned her a £10 million fortune.

But the 17-year-old, who is returning to the big screen in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, said she had no plans to retire just yet and is concentrating on her school studies, the Daily Mail reports.  "Let’s be honest, I have enough money never to have to work again. But I would never want that," the actress told a US magazine.

Emma has signed up to make the final two Harry Potter films, but when she’s not filming, she spends her time studying.

"People can’t understand why I don’t want to be a full-time actress but school life keeps me in touch with my friends. It keeps me in touch with reality.  I have a really secure network of family and friends. My parents are both lawyers and have no interest in being part of this industry."

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson is keen to scotch recent tabloid rumours that she initially refused to sign up for the final two Harry Potter movies over money disputes.

The star, who plays Harry’s sidekick Hermione Granger, said that studio bosses were keen to allow her to continue her studies during the filming of Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.

"The wait for me to sign the contract was much more about the fact that mine was a bit more complicated than Dan or Rupert’s," Emma explains.

"It just took a bit longer to work out in terms of scheduling and thinking about how I was going to do two more Harry Potter films as well as my AS and A Levels and applying to university, because doing them alongside each other is no joke and you’ve really got to think it through.

"Anyway, the media decided that this little wait was a definite ’no’ or that I was doing it for more money or whatever, but what can I say except that I’m so glad that I’m doing the last two, and I’m really excited," she smiles.

"Warner Bros have been so supportive of me continuing at school and have come up with some very innovative ideas about how to make it work because obviously it’s a bit of a task!"
