The Mighty Boosh & Norman Jay Lead Line Up

March 15...The Big Chill is set to get together with the ICA, BFI Southbank, Underbelly and Roundhouse Studios for this year’s festival.

With even more spaces for art, theatre, comedy and literature at this year’s festival and partners determined to bring in exciting new collaborations and projects 2008’s Big Chill is set to be the best yet.

What’s It About?  This is one unbelievably chilled festival.  In fact, Big Chill is so laid back it’s horizontal.

Set in the exquisite surroundings of Eastnor Castle Deer Park, with panoramic views for binocular lovers, Big Chill promises an endorphin-fuelled event for those tired of big nights.  With live music at the ready, DJ mixes, bars, comedy and dance it brings the world of eclectic music to the masses with a mixed bag of flavours from electronica, jazz, funk, soul, techno and house to orchestras and big bands, dub, reggae, folk, ceilidh and plenty more.  And that’s not to even mention the live comedy, burlesque and theatre.

Every year the line up features the finest in bang up to date and classic acts - this year Norman Jay leads the old guard in to the battle of the chill.  Meanwhile new innovations for 2008 include The Big Warm, with a magical night time glow across the lakes, a late night cinema programme and even a kiddies playground.

Book now if you love: Laying back, lounging, living it up.

Don’t Miss: The sublimely ridiculous it-comedians The Mighty Boosh and retro fantastic Leonard Cohen.
