Oh yes, electro king Gary Numan is to set his aeroplane down in Kent for the much anticipated Mighty Boosh Festival. Meanwhile indie favourites The Charlatans headline, closely followed by ones-to-watch, Texan rockers White Denim and jazz mavericks Polar Bear.
What’s it about?
The festival goes funny thanks to The Mighty Boosh, aka Vince Noir and Howard Moon, aka Noel Fielding and Julian Barrett. Whether you’ve been working the crimp since back in the day or you’ve only recently jumped on the Bollo bandwagon this promises to be a rather exciting festie first.
Mixing it up with comedy, music and no doubt a rousing game of Pelt The Rabbit in His Big White Face Fielding and Barrett are working with Vince Power to create a totally unique festival experience in the wilds of Kent (but only about an hour from Dalston). Expect some of the most bang up to date bands from the Hoxton haircut scene shaken in to a pot of quotable comic genius characters and a little freeform jazz to boot.
