Fancy a frolic at a festival, but find the usual high prices and corporate jibe get your goat? Well this year you can make a different choice and support a worthwhile cause whilst you shuffle your feet.
Located at the beautiful Montacute House, in Somerset, Music For Africa brings together top quality, independent and unique acts in a two-day frenzy of festival madness. Income raised from the festival goes towards bringing music into the everyday lives of young people in South Africa, particularly those in marginalized and subsistence level communities who would otherwise have no such opportunities.
This year sees a tiptop line up with Sgt. Pepper’s Only Dart Board Band bringing their amusing stage act to the fold, whilst original music comes from the likes of Riverbrew, Gypsy Fire, Planetman and the Internationalz, and The Bag of Rats. Expect everything from jazz and country, through to Spanish influenced acoustic and traditional Bangra.
