Dorchester plays host to another annual outing of Lakeside Magic, as this four-day event at Kingston Maurward College welcomes a menu of live entertainment to the lawn.

Thursday evening is The Magic of Motown as Alexander O’Neal comes to the UK with his mix of Motown anthems and authentic ballads. Whilst Friday offers up an unusual mix of entertainment in the form of two top tribute bands, Queen b and Bee Gees Magic. And if you haven’t already had enough of the 60’s theme, Summer of Love and the UK Beach Boys come storming on to the scene on the Saturday, closely followed by a diversion from form with Jane McDonald winding things up on the Sunday.

Deckchairs are available for hire, picnics are welcome but should you not have the energy to pack your own sarnies, don’t fret a fully licensed bar will be on hand.
