Nestling away in the beautiful surrounds of south Devon, Fordstock is a local one-day music extravaganza.

Rather than big names, big prices and big sponsorship, this little festival bills itself as a ‘real community event’ and as such the two music stages showcase local artists. Alongside quality tunes, punters can expect the usual mix of entertainers, workshops, children’s activities, a licensed bar, great food and plenty of stalls.

Names on the 2008 bill include Hey Molly, Illegitimate Sons of the King, Bert Miller and the Animal Folk.

Run as a charity the event generates money for local community projects.
