What's It About?
With about a gadzillion festivals on the calendar this year you've got to wonder what all this happy camping to music's doing to the environment. Fifty foot lighting rigs, jet setting bands, enough energy used to heat a small Icelandic village just to power up the sound system.
But 2000 Trees is different. Set up by six friends disillusioned by mainstream music festivals and determined to make a difference. With minimal environmental impact, local food and drinks and a zero waste aim, this is a festival for the greenies among you.
But don't think this is an event for only hemp flip flop wearers. With more than sixty acts ranging from recognisable names such as Art Brut, These New Puritans and Reuben to little known treats including Frank Turner and Old School Tie musos and those who just like to hear something new, different or beautiful will be in their element. In addition there are opportunities for Battle of the Bands winners to play and local acts are relied upon to keep the line up varied and the carbon costs down, what better way to support local talent?
Book Now If You Love: Keeping it real
Don't Miss: The fantastic folky punky sounds of Frank Turner.
