Nice little restaurant this. Freshly cooked Italian food prepared with real passion. Pretty place with some questionable art work and a bit of a draft if you sit too near the door (I advise the table by the roraring fire if it's the middle of winter. There is also a downstairs although I think that tends to be used for private hire.
I had the most fabulous steak last time I was there but have also been impressed by the risotto and the pasta in the past. Starters and puddings and also really good. Menu is varied without being enormous so you know that the choice is seasonal and freshly prepared.
Staff are friendly, the waitresses are stunningly pretty and I think there must be a clear house policy on this because this is totally without exception! Needless to say, my husband loves it there!
The guy who runs the place is a gem; friendly and informative, only too eager to please and generous with it! Last time I was there he insisted I try the banana tiramisu despite the fact I had pigged out on the chocolate pudding already!

I didn’t think that you can be addicted to a restaurant until I tried Centonove. The choice on the menu is great and the service quick and professional.
On Friday we tried their specials, swordfish with cherry tomatoes (Pesce Spada) and Veal served with sweet potatoes and artichokes. Both dishes were absolutely outstanding. The sword fish was a bit thicker than usual and coupled well with the sweet tomatoes and the veal was so tender and tasty to get your mouth watering.
To finish off the meal we sampled their Tiramisu, the best ever! The cream was so smooth and the flavour strong but delicate - perfect. Quite possibly one of the best Italian restaurants in the capital. Trust me I’ve tried lots.

Quietly the best Italian restaurant in Notting Hill. Its clientele are slightly younger than the normal patrons of the other more well known ristorantes on Kensington Park Road, this gives the small space a great atmosphere when only half full.
Though the tables are a little to tightly packed in, the light and ambience are almost magical come dusk As with most real Italian eateries you will not find too many surprises on the menu, the winning dish however is the Ravioli served with real Italian portions.
Frequented by expats by the planeload, Centonove??s food easily passes the passport test.

Excellent food and the best tiramasu in town! Comments below about poor service were unfounded in my experience ... our waitress was efficient and friendly, even when the restaurant started to pack out. If you want authentic Italian food in relaxed surroundings then you can't go far wrong.
I love this place… it’s one of the best Italian Restaurants in Notting Hill
