Tamatanga is a nicely decorated restaurant with tables similar to Wagamama but that it where the comparison stops. We ordered our food and were constantly asked by the staff if we needed anything else or drinks or something. It was quite annoying. The food ordered was OK not the best in Nottingham but not the worst. Middle of the road but not priced as such. The taste of the food seemed over salted. The dishes were adequately sized. Me and my mate were sat alonside each other and found ourselves leaning forward to talk because the staff were so intent on listening in case they could help/upsell. Its an OK restaurant with OK food but nothing special

this is the best place for the indian food in nottingham. the team are very co operative and the above of all the food and the ambience is class apart. we normally hang out with this place regularly with group of friends. this place is meant to be who really enjoy the good food , good music and brilliant service. the food comes to our tables almost 5-8 minutes. no doubts the chefs are world class. the taste and the aroma of the food remind me back home in india. tamatanga offers the whole some nutritious food with no HOLES in our pocket. the manager are ready to offer us with the loyality card stamped. that means very soon we all get the free meal at tamatanga. we all can sing tama-tama-tama we want moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
