I have long been a customer of Taps, and have to say that I have always been totally impressed by their levels of service, not to mention the great food.

It is so hard these days to find a good eatery, that is family run, and takes families into account, their childrens menu is as impressive those for adults, and when you have a picky 4 year old to feed, you'll know how much it can spoil a meal if they don't like what they have.

I give Taps top marks, and recommend them everyone

taps what can i say, it is one of the best restaurants i have been to in a long time.
the food is really good and the staff are really helpfull nothing is to much for them. they will go that exta mile to make your evening the best.

"Visit Taps! The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, the atmosphere is great. We couldn't book so we went on down to the restaurant around seven. It was packed so the waitress asked us to go to the Chelsea for a few drinks and when a table was ready she would phone us. Within an hour out table was ready (although we were half cut!) and we were welcomed by friendly staff who took our order straight away. We sat in the restaurant until 1am with no pressure put on us to make a move. I loved it and would definitely recommend it."

"I wish I could give a rating but unfortunately we were badly let down by Taps. A couple of weeks ago my wife booked a table for 5 for 8 p.m. on Saturday 3rd December. The occasion was our son's 21st birthday. We were staying at a super cottage at Hall Farm Cottages near Ludham for the celebratory week end. You can imagine our consternation when we arrived at Taps at 7:45 to find that it was closed! Despite the fact that they had our telephone number and home address and also were told over the phone that we were staying at Hall Farm Cottages (who incidentally had recommended Taps) no one at Taps had the courtesy to let us know they could not honour our booking. I feel this is a very unprofessional way treat customers. Mine is a zero rating!!!"
