ME AND MY COLLEAGUES WERE VERY DISSAPOINTED IN GUSTOS FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS...
1.THE MAJORITY OF THE FOOD WAS TASTELESS.
2.THE PORTIONS WERE SMALL FOR THE PRICE WE PAID.
3.WE ASKED FOR THE £14 HOUSE BOTTLES OF WINE BUT INSTEAD RECIEVED THE MORE EXPENSIVE BOTTLES WHICH COST OVER £30 EACH, WE WERE WARNED THAT THIS MIGHT HAPPEN BUT IGNORED IT.
(PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS).......!!
4.THE GARLIC MASH WAS OBVIOUSLY MICROWAVED AS IT BURNT THE ROOF OF MY MOUTH SO I LEFT IT FOR 5 MINS TO COOL DOWN BUT NO SUCH LUCK AS IT BURNT MY MOUTH AGAIN. !!
WE WILL CERTAINLY NOT BE RETURNING............EVER !!
The food, service and atmosphere in Gusto were excellent, we will definitely be returning.

very disappointed, having booked a surprise birthday meal for my girlfriend i was hoping for and expecting a nice meal in pleasant surroundings. what we got was a little different, our table was immediately next to the front door which wouldn't be a problem if it was kept closed but on a very chilly night the staff made minimal effort to keep it closed. i had to leave my seat on two occasions to close it myself. our starter was the mixed house starter to share which was pleasant enough. the problems started with the main course, my girlfriend ordered chicken stuffed with mushrooms and mozarella on mushroom rissoto, she got a chicken leg. the manageress was very apologetic and assured us it was just a mistake. someone had forgot to stuff it, i'm not quite sure how you would stuff a chicken leg anyway but things got worse when we then waited almost 35 minutes for our sweets to arrive. i had ordered a sweet calzone which came totally uncooked, it was obvious that the waitress had forgotten to place our order so i got raw dough with melted ice cream, again the manageress was very sorry and agreed that this was not good enough. i didn't pay for the chicken leg or the deserts and our drinks were complimentary. i would rather have paid for everything and had a pleasant evening with a nice meal. so it is a shame to say that i probably would not visit est est est again and would not recommend it to anyone
