Having been to Charlies on many occasions I felt very let down, particularly because I had brought 2 guests along.The smoked salmon starters were OK. However, the rack of lamb at �18.95/head was very poor and extremely fatty. The fish goujons main course needed a pneumatic drill to get through the batter! As for the creme brulee, you needed a pick-axe to break into it and when we complained the waitress said that sometimes they get burnt!!Needless to say, I gave no tip and I would recommend that you find somewhere else to eat. We won't be going to Charlies again.

We have been to the restaurant a couple of times, and had a nice meal. However this time, the menu had changed. The menu was cheap and the choice limited especially if you were a vegetarian or after some fish. The straters were very limited and the quality of the food was poor.The service was also lacking.

Been to the resturant on many an occasion but on our last visit, i found the menu changed and the service we recieved was very poor. We order a bottle of white wine which we had to pour ousselves, the plates we slammed down in front of us, the staff seemed more interested in a larger booking and all in all it was a very disappointing evening. My wife was quite upset and vowed never to reurn
