Matthew Vaughn and Claudia Schiffer were inseparable last night, at the Snatch producer’s 30th birthday bash at Noorjahn restaurant, in Chelsea. It became an evening of revelations when Matt confessed he used to have pictures of Claudia on his bedroom wall, while the supermodel declared her intention to be with him for all his forthcoming birthdays (loved up or what!) Among other celebrity guests were Vinnie Jones, who serenaded Matt with a rendition of ’Bad Boy Leeroy Brown’ and Trudie Styler and Sting, who arranged a yogic dancer for the evening. Claudia, who was dressed casually in a loose-fitting white shirt and blue trousers abstained from eating the delicious Sacha torte birthday cake, which Matthew’s Mum had whipped up.

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer has only been dating film producer Matthew Vaughn for two months, but already the couple are planning to live together, according to a British newspaper. The Mirror reported yesterday that the "besotted"’ couple have already started house hunting in London. The paper quotes Claudia as saying she’s "fallen head over heels in love’’ with Vaughn, the brains behind smash Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and is ready to move to Britain permanently to be with him. And the happy couple have reportedly been looking for a love-nest here in Notting Hill.

Claudia Schiffer is to have another crack at the big screen, she has kicked of 2001 with a promise to join Sarah Jessica Parker and Harry Connick Jr in Sony Pictures’ latest romantic comedy, Life Without Dick. The movie sees Parker fall in love with Connick, an Irish hit man hired by her boyfriend to kill her. Schiffer meanwhile plays Connick’s ex-girlfriend.
Life Without Dick will be Claudia’s fifteenth attempt to conquer the silver screen. Previous sorties include James Toback’s Black And White, Luis Mandoki’s Meeting Genevieve, and Nicholas Roeg’s little hyped, recent short, The Sound Of Claudia Schifffer.

Claudia Schiffer’s biggest fan base is her home country of Germany, Her latest underwear campaign for H&M has caused havoc all over the country, so much so that in Frankfurt, 300 display cases holding her posters have been broken into and the posters stolen. There is also concern that billboard posters of her scantily dressed are causing traffic accidents, with male drivers not keeping their eyes on the road ahead.
