Italian is now closed and the bar is trying to revert back to Moon Bar. The bar itself has always been owned by the same persons running Basement Sauna and is a constant source of complaint with local residents due to excessive noise issue, under age drinking and breaches of licence agreements.

I went to Moon Bar a few weeks ago and it wasn't up to our standard. The manager wasn't very helpful and the food wasn't up to much. We won't go back again.

"An unusual setting very secluded setting which adds to the atmosphere. We ate mid week and found the food to be of good quality. Great service and decent prices. A change from most city centre venues."

"We went to Moon Bar for some food last night, having heard good things about it. The atmosphere was great with lots of people have fun, listening to fashionable music and sitting out on the terrace enjoying the first warm weather of the year. The staff were lovely, there was a good choice of drinks for both of us and we were settled in all ready for a lovely meal. Sadly though the food was not of the highest quality, it wasn't that it was bad but it was really not that good either. It may have been that it wasn't to our tastes so I wouldn't say to rule it out completely but don't expect too much."
